Ingredients:
- 4 pieces (approx. 5 oz / 140g each) Garlic or Plain Naan
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Thick Pizza Sauce or Marinara
- 1 tbsp (15ml) Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 2 cups (225g) Shredded Low-Moisture Mozzarella
- 1/4 cup (15g) Freshly Grated Parmesan
- 8 slices (40g) Pepperoni or Salami
- 1 handful (10g) Fresh Basil leaves
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the naan on the sheet, lightly brush the outer edges with olive oil, and bake for 2–3 minutes to prevent a soggy center.
- Remove the naan and spread 2 tbsp (30ml) of sauce across each piece, leaving a 1/2-inch border for the handle.
- Layer the mozzarella evenly across the sauce, then add pepperoni slices. Press the toppings slightly into the cheese to lock them in place.
- Return the pizzas to the oven for 7–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling with golden-brown spots and the edges are a deep mahogany color.
- Remove from the oven and immediately garnish with torn fresh basil leaves.
