Ingredients:
- 4 pieces (approx. 5 oz / 140g each) store-bought naan or flatbread crusts
- 1/2 cup (120ml) pizza sauce or marinara
- 2 cups (225g) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp (15ml) extra virgin olive oil
- 4 oz (115g) pepperoni slices
- 1/2 cup (60g) sliced bell peppers
- 1/4 cup (15g) thinly sliced red onion
- 1 tsp (2g) dried oregano
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lightly brush the top of each flatbread with olive oil and place them in the oven for 3 minutes until they feel slightly firm to the touch.
- Remove the crusts from the oven and spread 2 tbsp (30ml) of sauce over each base, leaving a small margin at the edge.
- Distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly across the sauce, then layer on the pepperoni slices and vegetables.
- Sprinkle the dried oregano over the top for an aromatic finish.
- Return the pizzas to the oven and bake for 7–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling with golden-brown spots and the edges are a deep mahogany color.
