Ingredients:

  • 4 pieces (approx. 5 oz / 140g each) store-bought naan or flatbread crusts
  • 1/2 cup (120ml) pizza sauce or marinara
  • 2 cups (225g) shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp (15ml) extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 oz (115g) pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup (60g) sliced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup (15g) thinly sliced red onion
  • 1 tsp (2g) dried oregano

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Lightly brush the top of each flatbread with olive oil and place them in the oven for 3 minutes until they feel slightly firm to the touch.
  3. Remove the crusts from the oven and spread 2 tbsp (30ml) of sauce over each base, leaving a small margin at the edge.
  4. Distribute the shredded mozzarella cheese evenly across the sauce, then layer on the pepperoni slices and vegetables.
  5. Sprinkle the dried oregano over the top for an aromatic finish.
  6. Return the pizzas to the oven and bake for 7–10 minutes until the cheese is bubbling with golden-brown spots and the edges are a deep mahogany color.
