Ingredients:
- 1 cup (125g) self-rising flour
- 1 cup (245g) plain Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp (28g) melted butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 pinch fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, stir together the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt using a spoon.
- Mix until a shaggy, clumpy dough forms; stop mixing as soon as the flour streaks disappear to avoid toughness.
- Lightly flour your surface and knead the dough gently for 30–60 seconds just until it becomes a smooth ball.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a ball, then use a rolling pin to flatten them into circles about 1/4 inch thick.
- Ensure there is a light coating of flour on both sides to prevent sticking to the pan.
- Place a skillet over medium-high heat without adding oil.
- Lay one flatbread in the pan and cook for 1–2 minutes until bubbles form on the surface and the bottom is golden-brown.
- Flip the bread over and cook for another 1–2 minutes.
- Immediately brush with the garlic butter mixture while the bread is still steaming.
